          Nima Rumba is a well known name in the field of performing art who had passion in music & dancing but never thought he would become a pop icon one day.

          He was born in Subarnapur in Parsa on the 26th of May. In his SLC break he got attached with musician friends who was his elder brother Pasang Namgyel’s friends, they used to have a band called THE BASS ( Rabi Thapa (Drums) Birman Tamang (Bass) Saroj Pandey (Guitar)) and Nima joined them as a new member, he then started to learn how to play guitar and polish his singing skill with them, Nima spent about 2-3 years with The Bass but didn’t made any records, then sometime later in 1991 he met a local friends Jyoti Ratna Bajracharya and friends and they formed the band THE PEACE, the band took part in the Rara Nepali Music Competition, where they won second place with the song “Aai Deu Priya”  which was observed by Mr.
